Wilbert Pierce Design's website (www.wilbertpierce.xyz) is owned by Wilbert Pierce Design (“WPD”) and intended for use by people who want to know more about our services or view our products.
WPD recognizes the importance of protecting any information collected from the users of its Site, and has adopted this Privacy Policy to inform its users about the types of information WPD gathers about users while using the Site, how WPD may use that information, and whether WPD discloses it to anyone.

Browsing the Site does not require you to register for an account or provide any personal information to us. In general, IDEO will gather some generic information automatically, using Google Analytics for the purpose of determining customer service and website needs. Generic information does not reveal the identity of the visitor.
We may automatically collect the following information:
technical information, including the IP address used to connect your computer to the internet, your browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform;
information about your visit, including the URL clickstream to, through and from the Site (including date and time); items you viewed or searched for; page response times, functional errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), and methods used to browse away from the page.
Account creation: You may create a User Account on the Site in two ways. One way is by logging in to www.ideocreativedifference.com, and providing us with: 1) your first name and 2) a valid email address (“Login Information”). Two, you may create your account by logging in via “Google Connect.” If you register to the Site using ‘Google Connect’, then the following information from Google, if it has been made publically available by you on Google, will be stored on our servers as your Login Information: Google ID, first and last names, email address, country, locale, gender and date of birth. Additionally, your Google Profile Picture becomes part of your Login Information, but is not stored by us. Your Google ID will be your username for the Site.
Control of Your Password: You are responsible for all actions taken with your Login Information and User Account. Accordingly, you agree to maintain and safeguard the confidentiality of your Login Information, and to not share your Login Information with any third party. We recommend that you do not disclose your password to any third parties. If you choose to share any of your Login Information or your personal information with third parties, you should review that third party’s privacy policy. If you lose control of your password, you may lose substantial control over your personal information and may be subject to legally binding actions taken on your behalf. Therefore, if your password has been compromised for any reason, you should immediately change your password as detailed in the next section.
Accessing, Reviewing and Changing Your Personal Information: You agree to maintain and promptly update and keep accurate, current and complete any information provided to IDEO as part of your User Account. You can change your username, email address, password, contact and other information by going to your User Account or by updating your Google Connect information as specified by Google.
If you create a User Account and are participating in Creative Difference as part of an employer-sponsored program, your employer-designated administrator will have the ability to delete your User Account. The employer-designated administrator will be able to see your email address, but will not be able to view or change your password or view any other personal information related to your User Account
Optional information: Once your account is created by either means, you will have the option to provide us with the following categories of information: 1) employer, and 2) business function.
Regarding Children and Minors: Users under the age of 13 may not use this Site. We do not knowingly collect personal information from users under the age of 13 (“Child” or “Children”). If IDEO learns that a Child’s personally identifiable information has been collected, then we will delete the account. If parents or guardians believe that we have unintentionally collected their Child’s personally identifiable information, then they should contact us and request the deletion of the information at service@ideocreativedifference.com or IDEO LP, Attn: Creative Difference re Minor Account, 150 Forest Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94301.
We use the personal information you provide to us to:
contact you about your account
troubleshoot problems and resolve disputes
detect and protect us against error, fraud and other criminal activity
enforce any terms and conditions governing use of the Site,
contact you with information related to this Site or any other IDEO affiliated site, and as
otherwise described to you at the time of collection.
By accepting these terms and conditions you expressly agree that we may contact you as provided herein, and you agree that we may use your User Account to contact you.
We may use and share this information internally as well as with our affiliated entities which are based primarily in the USA and UK.
We may use tools to analyze data collected about you in order for us to improve our services and tailor those services to our users. Where we use a third-party provider to analyze your data, we will take steps as far as possible to anonymise personal data shared with third parties. Third-Party tools used to analyze data will use and/or produce aggregated versions of user data.
We also may receive information about you if you use any of the other websites we, or our affiliates operate, or the other services we provide.
Our Disclosure of Your Information
IDEO may disclose information it has collected from you when it believes in good faith that the law or legal process requires it, or when it is necessary to do so to protect the rights or property of IDEO or others. As a matter of policy, we do not sell or rent any of your personal information to third parties without your explicit consent. The following describes some of the ways that your personal information may be disclosed in the normal scope of our business.
Service Providers for Our Operations. We may use third-parties as service providers to facilitate our services, to provide our services on our behalf, to perform Site-related services (e.g., without limitation, maintenance services, database management, web analytics, and/or improvement of the Site’s features) or to assist us in analyzing how our services are used. Therefore, we may provide some of your Personal Information, Non-Identifying Information and Log Data directly to these service providers. These service providers’ are subject to confidentiality agreements with us and other legal restrictions that prohibit their use of the information we provide them for any other purpose except to facilitate the specific outsourced IDEO-related operations, unless you have explicitly agreed or given your prior permission to them for additional uses.
Your Employer. If you are participating in Creative Difference as part of an employer-sponsored program, at the request of your employer, your employer will have access to the email address associated with your User Account information, but not your password or other personal information related to your User Account. IDEO shall not be responsible or liable for the use of such information by your employer, and such use shall be subject to your employer’s policies (including privacy policies) applicable to you.
Other Corporate Entities. We may share our data, including your Personal Information, Non-Identifying Data and Log Data, with our affiliate and branch offices in the United States and internationally, and with our affiliates companies. To the extent that these entities have access to your information, they will treat it at least as protectively as they treat information they obtain from their other users. These entities follow privacy practices no less protective of our users than our practices described in this Privacy Policy, to the extent allowed by applicable law. IDEO may share some or all of your Personal Information, Non-Identifying Data and Log Data with another business entity should we plan to reorganize, spin out, merge with, acquire, or be acquired by that business entity. Should such an event occur, we will require that the new or combined entity follow this Privacy Policy with respect to your Personal Information. If your Personal Information will be used contrary to this Privacy Policy, you will receive prior notice in as provided in the Notice section (below).
Legal Requests. IDEO cooperates with law enforcement inquiries, as well as other third parties to enforce laws and intellectual property rights. Therefore, in response to a verified request by law enforcement or other government officials relating to a criminal investigation or alleged illegal activity, we can (and you authorize us to) disclose your name, city, state, telephone number, and email address. Without limiting the above, in an effort to respect your privacy, we will not otherwise disclose your Personal Information to law enforcement or other government officials without a subpoena, court order or substantially similar legal procedure, except when we believe in good faith that the disclosure of information is necessary to prevent imminent physical harm or financial loss; or report suspected illegal activity.
Due to the existing regulatory environment, we cannot ensure that all of your private communications and other Personal Information will never be disclosed in ways not otherwise described in this Privacy Policy. By way of example and without limiting the foregoing, we may be forced to disclose personal information to the government or third parties under certain circumstances or third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications. Therefore, although we use industry standard practices to protect your privacy, we do not promise, and you should not expect, that your Personal Information or private communications will always remain private.
If IDEO or its assets (or those of its affiliates) are sold or transferred to a third party, the information held by us about you may also be transferred.
When you send an email or other communication to IDEO, we may retain those communications in order to process your enquiries and respond to your requests. We do not use your email address or contact information or any third parties’ email address that you enter to send commercial or marketing messages nor do we give or sell this information to any third parties.
We invite people who are interested in hearing more about IDEO’s activities on this Site or any other IDEO affiliated site to sign up to our newsletter. By signing up to the newsletter, you are giving consent for IDEO to contact you using personal details you provide (“Subscription”). Your Subscription will allow IDEO to contact you regarding this Site and any other IDEO affiliated site. Our newsletter subscription list is managed by Mailchimp (www.mailchimp.com) and your Subscription will be subject also to Mailchimp’s terms of use and privacy policy (http://mailchimp.com/legal/).
Individual response data are stored on Qualtrics and Heroku databases, which meet the stringent security requirements of the EU and US regulations. Your company-specific data will be deleted upon your request.
